All About StEvE
Traveled back to my home town, Fort Wayne, Indiana - hubby's first visit to see my old stomping grounds. Here are a few sights from our trip back to the Fort.
Our first stop was to get some grub. It was late, so the best place to go was Big Boy. Of course, we had to get the classic Big Boy Burger!
Steve's first experience around the Amish.

Steve's first experience around the Amish.
He really enjoyed the lake life at my friend's cottage
He loved grilling in my parent's backyard
My parents love to go out for breakfast
A ball was had by all, but especially Steve!

Such fun to see a collection of photos of StEvE!

Your Amish drive much different horses than the Amish I grew up with. I am from PA my family was Mennonite long ago. My neighbors all drove retired trotters. I have never seen such a cute pony cart around town. Nice. Looks like he fit right in.
ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy things about "back home in Indiana" (including the song)
ReplyDeleteWhat fun for him to experience fun things in your hometown. I was once teaching a class in Goshen, Indiana. Drove behind an Amish buggy (cart?) on the way to work. I was late. As soon as I mentioned the buggy, everyone understood.
