Motherhood

One of the greatest gifts I was blessed with is being a mom.  Motherhood not only changes you, but changes as the needs of our kids change and then they grow up and leave the nest.  Being a self-proclaimed "change lover" (although that is changing as I get older), this was not one I was happy to accept.  I practically grew up with my kids - I was a mom at the age of 22!  I knew nothing else, but living with and for them.  We went through a lot together......It was a tough adjustment for me as each of them flew the coop.

Now that they are on their own, I always treasure the time I do get to spend with them.
